How it works
Entries can be single players or pairs. Seeds are set by rating, highest first, and byes go to the top seeds automatically, so two byes never meet. Once the draw is made it stays as it is, so nobody can quietly redraw it. You need at least two entries to make a draw.
You are only offered the draw formats, disciplines and match lengths that your sport actually plays. A sign-up link enters one person, so doubles draws do not use one, and entries close on the dates you set, even for someone who has the link.
A result counts once the other side agrees with it, or after three days of silence.
A player enters the score and it waits for the other side to confirm it. Until then no rating moves and the draw does not move on, unless 72 hours pass without an answer. When an organiser enters the score of a match they did not play in, it counts straight away. If the other side disagrees, the organiser settles it, or a SetMatcher administrator does if the organiser played in that match. Changing a confirmed result asks for confirmation again and updates the ratings from that match on.
