Playing, results, ratings and your groups are free, and they stay free. You only pay when an event grows beyond a group of friends, when you run that event’s day at a venue, or for extra statistics about your own matches.
Every tournament, league, ladder and competition up to 16 entrants is free, with every tool included. Events that already exist when paid plans start stay free for their whole life.

What is free, and stays free
Everything you need to play is free. The more players join, the better SetMatcher gets for everyone, so you never pay just to be here.
Playing
Find someone at your level, challenge them, agree on a time and play. No limits, no plan and no card needed.
Recording a match
Every score in your own sport’s format, confirmed by the other side and kept for as long as you want.
Your rating
A rating for each sport and discipline, a chart of how it has moved, and the match behind every change. Paying never changes a rating.
Groups of any size
As many groups as you like, with as many members as you like, each with its own ranking. Nothing that is free today will get a limit.
A club and its register
Your club, its committee, its members and its page, however many members you have.

Event pass
For one tournament, bought by whoever runs it

One tournament at any size, with everything for the tournament day: courts and schedule, order of play, the desk, check-in, printouts and live scoreboards. It belongs to that event and never expires.
A club championship that comes round once a year.
SetMatcher Club
For a club, and everybody on its committee
€39.00 a monthor €390.00 a year. A year is 10 months’ money.
Every tournament, league, ladder and competition of any size in all the club’s groups, with everything for the tournament day, for everyone on the committee. You can also show the club’s ranking, fixtures, results, a draw and a live scoreboard on your own club website.

Paid entry
For an organiser who takes an entry fee
5% + €0.30Per paid entry, taken from the fee. Keeping track of who has paid, without taking payments, stays free for everyone.
Players pay the entry fee when they sign up, straight into the organiser’s own account, minus our share. A tournament with paid entry has no size limit and gets everything for the tournament day, because the entries pay for it.
A charity day on eight courts, at ten euro a head.
Nothing paid changes a result
No plan moves a rating, changes a draw or a seeding, or puts anyone higher in a list or in front of a better opponent. Paying gets you more insight into matches you already played, never a different match.
The small print
Tax, cancelling, refunds and ads, in a few lines. The terms of use have the full version.
- Prices are shown in euro and include VAT, and they are the same figure in every country they are sold in.
- Plans and the event pass are sold in the countries SetMatcher is registered to charge tax in. Checkout asks where you are buying from and says plainly if yours is not one of them yet.
- You cancel yourself, without asking anyone, and your plan runs until the end of the period you already paid for.
- You have 14 days from a subscription’s first payment to change your mind and get a full refund, whatever you agreed at checkout.
- If a payment fails, nothing changes straight away: you keep everything for 14 days and we email you in the meantime. After that your plan goes back to Free, and nothing is ever deleted because a payment stopped.
- An event pass is refunded in full on request until the first result of that tournament is recorded. After that it has been used.
- A club can try SetMatcher Club once for 14 days, without a card.
- Where ads are shown at all, they are only for visitors without an account and players on the free plan, and only if they have agreed to see ads. There are no ads for anyone on Plus, or on any page of a club on Club.
