How it works
Each court has a sport, a surface, weekly opening hours and dates it is closed. SetMatcher plans matches onto your courts across every draw you run that day, so two events on the same Saturday never book the same court. You can always move a match by hand at the desk.
A match is never given away automatically. Each sport sets how long to wait for a player who has not turned up, and after that wait you may record a walkover. A player can dispute an absence for four weeks afterwards, and nothing changes until you have looked at it.
Nobody is in two places, and nobody plays sooner than their sport allows.
Three rules always apply: one match per court at a time, one match per player at a time, and enough rest between two matches on the same day. The rest time comes from each sport’s rules: five minutes for table tennis, ten for pickleball, half an hour for tennis, an hour for padel and badminton, and six hours for squash. You can shorten it, but not below the minimum the sport allows, and a match you move by hand is checked against the same rules.
