Tennis, scored the way the ITF rules say.
Points make games, games make sets, and sets win the match. SetMatcher records every set score game by game, and your rating takes the games into account, so a 6-4 6-4 win is not worth the same as 7-6 7-6.
8 match formats, 8 draw formats, and at least 30 min of rest between two matches on the same day.
How scoring works.
Win six games with a two-game lead to take a set, and at 6-6 a tie-break to seven decides it. Both tie-break scores are saved, because 7-6(5) and 7-6(3) are different results. An advantage set goes on until someone leads by two games. A ten-point match tie-break replaces a deciding set and counts as one game for the winner, so it never outweighs a full set.

A match is won on sets, never on total games.
7-5 0-6 7-5 is two sets to one, even though the games add up to fourteen against sixteen, so it is a win. How a match ends matters too: a retirement keeps the score up to the moment play stopped and counts towards your rating, because a match was played. A walkover, a default or a no-show has no score and is not rated, just like on the tours.

The match formats you can play.
Eight, all from the ITF rules: best of three and best of five tie-break sets, a ten-point match tie-break instead of a third set, an advantage final set over three or five sets, short sets to four, Fast4, and best of five with a ten-point tie-break at 6-6 in the final set, as the Grand Slams have played since 2022. No-ad scoring is a separate choice, because it changes how a game is played but not the scores you write down. Fast4 switches it on for you.

Draws, rest times and ladders.
Tennis has more draw formats than any other sport here, and the compass draw is used only in tennis. The others are a knockout, a consolation draw, a feed-in championship (the USTA’s name for it), groups into a knockout, Monrad, a round robin and a single round. Singles, doubles and mixed doubles each get a rating of their own.
The other six sports.
Plenty of clubs play two or three of these. Each one has its own page.
- PadelThree deuce rules, best of three only, and the court side you play.
- PickleballTwo scoring systems, six formats, and a score called with three numbers.
- BadmintonA cap no other sport here has, and both BWF scoring systems.
- Beach tennisOne point at 40-40, always, in every format.
- SquashNo sets, no cap, and up to three plate draws.
- Table tennisFour match lengths, from a league three to a nine-game team tie.
